This weekend was filled with Indy 500 buzz as we witnessed the 100th anniversary of the greatest spectacle in racing. In the midst of this excitement it is important to keep into account the dangers associated with racing. On Saturday night race car driver William Mefford, 49, of Knightstown, Indiana was involved in a fatal crash at an Anderson, Indiana track. He had just passed another driver when the hood to his car flew up blocking all visibility and leading Mefford to crash into a corner barrier of the track. This marks the tragic end to a great career; Mefford had recently won the Late Model division at the Anderson track.

Mefford's loved ones need time to handle this tragedy on their own and should not have to deal with legal stresses or insurance matters. If you or a loved one has suffered from a motor vehicle accident, let Wagner Reese take care of these for you and your family. Call our office today for a free consultation. Two young boys from Indianapolis were involved in a mini-bike accident that could end up affecting them for the rest of their lives. The two boys, aged 11 and 9, rode the miniature motorcycle straight into a tree. The two boys' names have not been released, but the 11 year-old driver is said to be suffering from only minor injuries and appears to be in the clear. Sadly, the same cannot be said of his younger passenger who is in critical condition at Riley Hospital for Children suffering from severe head injuries.

The summertime is a season of fun and adventure, but this goes to show that tragedy can strike unexpectedly at anytime. The Personal Injury attorneys at Wagner Reese have experience handling the cases for victims of motor vehicle accidents as well as injured children. Call our law office today for a free consultation if you or a loved one has been injured in a motor vehicle accident. (800) 792-0332. http://www.injuryattorneys.com/
