Indianapolis Hit and Run Car Accident

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are currently searching for the driver and car that were involved in a hit and run accident last week. The four-door, white vehicle sustained damage to its right rear passenger door after critically injuring a woman who was riding her scooter.

The woman, 22-year-old Tara M. Sanders (an Eastside resident who was riding her scooter) was injured in the hit and run car accident, according to the police report given by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The police report states that Sanders was riding her scooter North on Keystone Avenue. As she was pulling through the intersection at Troy and Keystone, the white car (heading South on Keystone) pulled in front of Sanders and her scooter, causing the collision. The car’s driver quickly headed East, avoiding the scene of the accident and the police.
